In order to succeed with an online business, it is highly recommended that you set goals.
Growing up as a child not having everything handed to you on a plate made me very entrepreneurial. I’ve always set goals for myself to be successful in life and with the current problems around the world with job cuts appearing on a daily basis, setting up your own business online can really be the correct step to financial freedom. I’ve been involved with internet marketing for a few years now, I have to admit though, I did give up at one stage for about one year. I gave up purely because I didn’t see the results that I wanted quick enough.
People are worried that they will fail and sometimes this is a huge downfall and the reason why a large percentage of online businesses fail. One thing that helps you succeed with an online business however is settings goals for you to achieve over specific periods of times both personally and goals for your business. This is something that my mentor has taught me to do and it’s something that I definitely recommend that you do.
Making goals for yourself holds you accountable for everything you do and if you document these goals for the public to see, you will find that you are more likely to work harder to achieve these goals quicker than you planned.

I’ve not made a post in some time now. I’ve been quite busy offline recently and to be perfectly honest, all my online marketing plans have suffered a little. However, I am back again with a little update.
Now everyone knows in order to succeed with an online marketing business you need traffic to your website. That is exactly what I am focusing on at the moment. There are many ways that you can generate traffic, on this blog I will be sharing different ways that I am and intend to use moving forward. One thing you MUST do when generating traffic is you must have a plan of action in place, something that you must stick to and do daily.

Hi all,
Well, what a few days I’ve had inside the world of Alex Jeffreys.
So far, I’ve purchased my domain and setup my blog, which you’re currently reading. Getting a blog online is such an easy process, all you need is simply a hosting account and a domain name. I got my hosting from HostGator – they are by far one of the best hosting companies online today, and I got my domain name from NameCheap, they are a top domain registrar, but you can also use GoDaddy if you like. After you’ve done this then all you need to do is download the latest version of WordPress and you’re good to go after you upload the WordPress files to your hosting account. There are many videos on Youtube.com that show you exactly how to do this, but if you get stuck, then feel free to leave a comment and I’ll be glad to help you.

Hi there and welcome to MarcCassidy.net
More importantly, welcome to my first ever blog post. This is exactly where the real journey begins for me.
Well, the question that needs answered firstly is, why am I creating this blog? It’s simple, I am in the process of building my very own business online and I want to share my knowledge that I learn along the way with my fellow readers, so you can do the same.
My name is Marc Cassidy, if you hadn’t already guessed, my aim is to become successful online. I’ve spent my fair share of time TRYING to make money online, truth be told though, I’ve never actually worked hard enough for it.
